"We played great defense against New Lothrop's shooters," Gray said. "We held them to their second lowest point total of the year. However, New Lothrop did a great job of negating our size advantage and their help defense was tremendous as well. "So it was great to see our seniors play tough on Monday in their last home game." Goodrich jumped out to a big lead in the first half. The Martians overpowered the Blue Devils and raced to a 39-9 lead after the first sixteen minutes of play had elapsed. "We had great balance on the offensive and defensive end of the court," Gray said. "It was another great team effort in our final home game." Lindsay Bergquist led Goodrich with 12 points and also had five steals. Kortni Elsworth had another strong outing with 11 points and eight assists. Brittany Bertrand had seven rebounds and four steals and JoAnne Carter finished with five rebounds.
